FAQ
1. Can you ship bikes?
Generally No. Why?
- We'd prefer you to support your local bike shop (LBS) if you have one. Sometimes we will ship framesets and bikes that are not current models. Drop us an email or call us if there's something we have that you can't get locally.
- We prefer to hand over bikes set up exactly as the rider wants it. We set suspension, convert to tubeless, add accessories, swap out tyres, pedals, saddles, accessories etc. We want you to love your bike from the first pedal stroke.
- The dealer agreements with most of our bike brands prevents us from shipping bikes. This is to protect your local dealer so they are around to service your needs for years to come.
2. Do you price match?
Yes and No. If you find an item we stock at a better price elsewhere, please give us the opportunity to match it. While we may not always be able to match it, we appreciate the opportunity. As a small business, our buying power isn't the same as the big corporate online stores. Our products come with the benefit of Australian warranty and we offer advice and a level of customer service you won't find in a chat bot.
3. Do you charge extra to pay with AMEX?
Nope.
4. Can I pay with Buy Now, Pay Later (eg Afterpay & Zip)?
Currently this is only a feature we offer in store. These companies charge us significantly higher merchant fees hence transactions come with some conditions such as minimum spend. If you would like to purchase using of these options, please contact us. We do offer lay-by options for no additional charges.
4. Do you offer Lay-by?
Yes we do. 30% deposit and full payment within 3 months is required.
6. Faulty Items & Warranty
Warranty terms and conditions are depended on the manufacturer. All will require proof of purchase. We will facilitate the warranty process for any brand or product we sell. Many manufacturers require the customer to cover shipping the faulty product back to them. If the faulty product was not purchased from our store, we may charge an admin fee to process the warranty.
7. Shipping
Our rates vary depending on product size, and postage on really bulky items will be billed separately. We use Australia Post mostly but may use a courier if the rate is more economical for bulky items. We don't ship products internationally.
